Intel Launched i7 8-Core Haswell-E CPU

Today, Intel launched 3 new processors: i7-5960K, i7-5930K, i7-5820K. Intel Core i7-5960K is Intel's first 8-core CPU. For this CPU a X99 chipset motherboard will be needed, using the new LGA 2011-3 socket. i7-5960K has a 3.0 GHz base clock speed that goes up to 3.5 GHz in Turbo, has 8 cores and 16 threads, 20MB cache, supports 4 memory channels of DDR4-2133, and has a 140W TDP. Together with i7-5960K, Intel also launched 2 6-core processors (12 threads), with 15MB cache. Those two have the same 4x DDR4 memmory channels, same 140W TDP, and same 2011-3 socket. The suggested price for these new CPUs are: -i7-5960K = $999 -i7-5930K = $583 -i7-5820K = $389 For more information check: - AnandTech - Toms's Hardware

iPhone 6 to be unveiled on 9.9.2014

Apple announced a special event on 9.9.2014, where the iPhone 6 should be unveiled, and rumors are that they will unveil also the iWatch. The iPhone 6 is supposed to have 2 sizes: 4.7 inch & 5.5 inch, should be thinner, and stronger, with a new processor, 64-bit A8. Also, in the same time, it's possible that the iOS 8 will be launched. All those rumors should be cleared on 9.9.2014, at the event held in Cupertino, California.

AMD aduce Richland dupa Trinity

Acum avem cea de-a doua incercare.

Intel launched Sandy Bridge

CHIPMAKER  Intel has released its next line of chips. Code-named Sandy Bridge, the chips combine a graphics processor and one or more CPU microprocessor(s) on one silicon die. Intel announced the release of its latest chip family in advance of the  Consumer Electronics Show , which is one of the biggest technology events on the calendar, to allow its partners to show off their products made with the chips. Shedloads of computer, telly and gadget makers will introduce hundreds of products based on what Chipzilla calls the second-generation Intel Core processor family. Sandy Bridge's main advantages are for laptops but it will face some stiff competition from AMD, which will be releasing its Fusion chips at CES. Fusion is also a combined graphics and CPU chip technology. However Sandy Bridge is all about how people want better graphics on their portable devices. Intel claims that Sandy Bridge chips can quickly convert video from one format to another. While they are still not a...
