European Central Bank released on 24 July 2014 an announcement about the hack: Email addresses and contact data stolen from public ECB website Theft was from database that is separate from any internal system No market sensitive data compromised "The theft came to light after an anonymous email was sent to the ECB seeking financial compensation for the data. While most of the data were encrypted, parts of the database included email addresses, some street addresses and phone numbers that were not encrypted. LulzSec Peru Breach Site of “The Hacker” Security Firm Hackers part of Lulz Security Peru (LulzSec Peru) managed to gain unauthorized access to the site of the security solutions firm Hacksoft (hacksoft.com.pe) , the provider of The Hacker antivirus .  As a result of the breach, the site was defaced and its database was published online.    “People, Lulzssecperu announces a big surprise for you, stay tuned for tomorrow 18th of April!!! Expect Us,” LulzSec Peru wrote on Twitter one day before the hack attack. Five hours after the data breach took place, the website was taken offline, so we didn’t manage to get a glimpse of the defacement page which may have indicated the reasons behind this attack. read more at softpedia

Microsoft Store India has been hacked! Database hacked, Passwords exposed As you can see from the image above, it has been hacked by EvilShadow team – 7z1&Ancker. From the tiny little flag and blog links, it looks like the hackers are from China. Their motivation is unknown at this point. From   7z1′s blog :  ” Do not explain, line and over ~  Black page Address:  http://www.microsoftstore.co.in/evil.html  ” The reason for this hack hasn’t been stated but they have managed to upload a file called evil.html which says “Unsafe system will be baptized”.   Also worth noting is that you can browse the rest of the website by going to their category   directly .
